Polignano streets
Famous places in Bari, Polignano a Mare and Monopoli
1. Bari. The fish market on the promenade near the Margherita theater ( Molo S. Nicola, 6). Take a picture with a plate of crudo (raw seafood).
2. Bari. A small kiosk bar Nderr alla lanze (Molo S. Nicola, 6). Take a picture with a bottle of Peroni beer, which of course is original from Bari. Here you will be served the most icy beer in Puglia!
3. Bari. Homemade pasta street in Old Bari – via delle orecchiette, Via Arco Basso . Be sure to stroll here after the visit to the Basilica of St. Nicholas.

4. Polignano a Mare. Take a picture from the Ponte Lama Monachile bridge at the historic center (you will immediately find it) overlooking the famous Cala Porto beach.
5. Polignano a Mare. Take a picture with the most beautiful view of Polignano from the side of Lungomare Domenico Modugno, where a monument to the singer Domenico Modugno is located. You just need to walk along the bridge and turn to the right and walk 100 m forward. How to make a photo even brighter? There is a cafe before the bridge with a traditional Apulian street food – focaccia barese (focaccia from Bari), buy it and go back to the sea-view. And the picture will be so bright and you will grab some tasty food just for 2 € :)

6. Polignano a Mare. Take a picture with a famous Apulian fish burger or anything else from Puglia’s most famous fish cafe – Pescaria (Piazza Aldo Moro, 6/8, 70044 Polignano a Mare BA). Take a burger with fresh tuna or a squid and go to the bridge that I mentioned above. By the way, if you’ll meet the huge line at the entrance to Pescaria, know that the food is worth it! These guys became so popular that two more restaurants were opened in Milan over the year and many cities in Puglia repeated this format of fresh seafood street food.
7. Monopoli. This town needs to be admired from the roofs. So book something cozy dimora or an apartment in the old Monopoli and enjoy the view from your terrace. I really like Dimora Madina – a four-floor apartment or another one Vista Cattedrale apartments.
8. Monopoli. Take a picture with blue boats in a port in the old town – Porto Turistico.
9. Monopoli. Take a picture in via S.Vito, it is so cosy and so plenty of flowers in pots around – magic atmosphere of small Italian towns! For reference, take the Hotel Don Ferrante, where a lot of picturesque streets are located.
10. Roca Vecchia. Grotta della Poesia – natural pool on the Adriatic coast located in Roca Vecchia which is a seaside area located in the municipality of Melendugno, 25 km from Lecce. Here you’ll find one of the most beautiful natural pools in the world. It is called the Cave of Poetry and attracts thousands of tourists every year.
11. Torre Sant’Andrea. Cliff sisters called Torre Sant’Andrea are located nearby. To the right and left from the coastline you will see high white rocks overlooking the sea which took the name of “faraglioni di Sant’Andrea”.
TRULLI OF ALBEROBELLO
12. Alberobello and its trulli. The min point is the central square with trulli with symbols on their cones – District Monti, Distric Aia Piccola. But you can always make something different. Just take a car and drive a car along the roads of Valle d’Itria and find unshielded trulli, climb onto their roof and make beautiful shots. Or even better – book a couple of nights in trulli. Thus, it will not be necessary to search and risk that you enter a private property :)
13. Martina Franca. This is another amazing town of baroque in Valle d’Itria. Come to visit it, walk around it’s historic center and arriving at the main square you will see a small but colorful bar “Al Bacareto da Ivan” where a really good Aperol spritz is served just for 3 euros.
14. Ostuni. La casa con la porta blu – the house with a blue door – the most photographed place in Ostuni.
15. Ostuni. Another famous place to take a picture in Ostuni is a bottega with a bike with is below on the photo. You will never miss it going up from the new part to the historic part of the Ostuni center.
16. The picture with focaccia or panzerotto or whatever else you prefer from the Apulian street food photographed with a sea background.
